Hook Lying Trunk Rotations
Patient was instructed to begin lying on their back with knees bent and feet resting on the floor or table.
Keeping the back flat, slowly rotate your knees down towards the floor or table until you feel a stretch in your trunk and hold for 3 seconds. Make sure that the back and shoulders stay in contact with the mat. Switch directions after completing to one side.
Double Knee To Chest
Patient was instructed to begin lying on their back. Slowly bring one knee at a time to chest and gently hug knees until you feel a stretch in a low back and hold. Return to the starting position lowering one leg at a time. Make sure to engage core when lifting legs and keep back relaxed during the stretch. Hold for 30 seconds and release.
